Hello Everyone!
Sharing my card for the Muse Challenge #183. Tracey, the hostess this week provided a beautiful floral card for our inspirations.
My rendition of Tracey's stunning card includes white embossed flowers, color hues, black sentiment. This card is my Plan B ... the background panel was created using various blue and green Distress Inks and smooshing. The same process was used for a panel to stamp the flowers except with orange, corals, pink shades of Distress Ink. The flowers were stamped using white pigment ink, heat embossed and fussy cut.
Wish you a fun day!
Marilyn
Note - Plan A was trying to water color without the proper paper and brushes. The paper and water coloring did not play nicely together, and the brushes created many unwanted spots!! It's always fun to try.

This turned out beautifully, and is a wonderful tribute to Tracey's card. That black sentiment is really striking against your smooshed panel. And those flowers are really sweet! Such a fun card! Love it. Bev

ReplyDeleteIt turned out great 2nd time! I do use ordinary card occasionally but you need to be bold and don't over work the watercolours. :)
