Greetings Everyone!
Today, I'm sharing a card for Muse: ChristmasVisions 60. Kim is the Muse this week ... she provided a very festive holiday card. I wanted to play ... my stamp stash had almost no similar items, so I pretended ... a lot!! I told myself that the foliage stamp was a broad-leaf evergreen (laurel, for example) and used a couple of green colors of dye ink. For a cold morning 'frosty' look, a couple coats of clear WOS were applied. The red 'berries' are custom-colored gems adhered to the centers of gold sequins. The sentiment words and placement are similar. It was fun pretending!
Inspirations from Kim's card include green foliage, red 'berries', sentiment words stamped in black and placement of sentiment.
Hope you're having a great day!
Marilyn

ReplyDeleteSuccessful pretending, I'd say!! This works perfectly, and I love how you used those leaves and inks and made Kim's card your own. Turned out fabulously. GREAT card, just love it!! Bev
