Muse - Happy Thanksgiving

Hello Everyone!

Today, I'm sharing my card with Muse where Anita is the hostess this week. She provided us a beautiful card for our inspirations. I chose to use patterned paper, foliage, vellum, brown-toned sentiment. My card base and top panel are cream colored that seem to blend well with the patterned paper of muted orange, gold and off white thin stripes. The leaves were die-cut and two of them inlaid. On one leaf I left in some of the bits, the middle leaf is backed with vellum to give the patterned paper a muted look and the third leaf is an embossed die cut. The sentiment was stamped in brown pigment ink, topped with clear embossing powder and heat embossed. A few gold sequins with orange gem stones in the centers were added for some sparkle.

Hope you're having a wonderful day.

  1. Your card is lovely, wonderful take on the Muse card :)

  2. Love these leaves (I have them, sitting unused, this would have been the perfect challenge!) I love that you left some of the 'bits' in one of the leaves! So glad you joined us at Muse this week!

  3. Love those die cut leaves, a fab take on the MUSE! :)

  4. Love, Love, Love! Those leaves are fabulous; nice musings!

  5. Love the inlaid die cuts and the use of vellum to soften the background too. Such a classy card.
Thanks so much for playing along at Muse this week, Anita x
