Hello everyone. Today, I'm sharing three cards for a number of challenges: First, my card for the Muse Challenge. Jenni, the newest DT member, presented a lovely card for our inspirations. (Congrats, Jenni!). Her card was inspirational in a number of ways; the details that I used on mine ... colors, flowers, black label-type sentiment, pierced panels. In lieu of a pink panel with script I used pink and white diagonal stripe DP. The small white panel is embossed with MFT Grosgrain impression plate (retired). The flowers were embellished with black pearl dots in lieu of liquid pearls. Products: Card Stock - Recollections; MFT DP - DCWV Stamps - MFT Ink - MFT- Hybrid Embellishments - black pearls Second, my card for:
-- CASology (cue word Adore); -- ATC - Red; -- CAS(E) this Sketch. The heart was embossed with MFT Die-namics - Hugs and Kisses CU; IRL it looks like tooled leather. Products: Card Stock - Recollections; MFT Dies - MFT - Die-namics Stamp - MFT Ink - MFT - Hybrid
Third, my card for The Card Concept. I'm placing this in the Clean, Layered, Elegant category (the elegant part because it's mostly white). Inspirations are from the cake layers, flowers, leaves. Products: All products are MFT

hello LOVE The challenge this week at The Paper Players is a sketch. This time I tried a mostly white card with pink and part of the sentiment in black. The hello is painted with a couple coats of clear WOS for some sparkle. Additional embellishments are pink pearl dots. For some texture one of the panels was embossed using a grosgrain embossing plate. Thank you for looking and commenting ... always appreciate your feedback. Products: Card stock - Recollections; MFT Dies - MFT - Die-namics Stamp - Precious Remembrance Ink - MFT - Hybrid - black Embellishments - WOS - clear; enamel dots
Clear the road! My card for CASology .. with the cue word of clear. This challenge was a poser. Then, I remembered a stamp set just for teenage boys that I bought a few years ago to use on cards for my grandsons. Sadly, this stamp set is retired as the company (Paper Pretties) closed. The road was made using snow drifts dies. To give the center stripe a reflective look a painting of clear WOS did the trick.
Also, I'm entering the Seize the Birthday challenge where the topping is clean and simple.

feel better soon Our inspiration this week is provided by Anita who designed a very CAS card for our thoughts. For my card I used a panel strip trimmed in black, lots of flowers in similar colors, yellow centers in the flowers, a similar sentiment. I randomly stamped the small flowers. Then, I colored with copic markers. One of my copics became very juicy that resulted in a little surgery on the panel strip. For the microscopic-sized flower centers the negative of a die-cut was used. This adds some texture to the card. For a little sparkle a couple coats of clear WOS were applied to the tiny centers. Thank you for looking and commenting ... always appreciate your feedback. Card Stock - MFT; Recollections Dies - MFT - Die-namics Stamps - MFT Ink - MFT - Hybrid
OPEN on ... My card for this challenge. Although I thought of many things for th3 cue word, Open, translating my ideas and thoughts to a card was a different story. Also, I tried to attach the envelope flap with magnetic tape (so a little sentiment could be placed inside); unfortunately, my tape wasn't strong enough to secure the flap ... an appropriate sentiment for the receiver will be placed inside the card. thank YOU The Paper Players has a fun color challenge this week. Our inspiration is to use the bold colors of Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo, Real Red plus Whisper White. For my card I chose a red card base, white panel trimmed in red and white stripes plus thin strips of turquoise and bright pink. The 'thank' sentiment top layer is bright pink with layers of turquoise and red slightly offset beneath. For some sparkle clear Wink of Stella was painted on the pink layer. For added interest I stamped the YOU in black. A few turquoise rhinestones finish my colorful card. Thank you for looking and commenting ... your feedback is always appreciated. Happy Birthday! Fusion Card Challenge ... congratulations on the 2nd year celebration with fantastic inspirations from the designers and guests. My card for this challenge captured inspirations from both the photo and sketch. A purple (fuchsia) colored foil strip is inserted between the pattern paper and white. Also for added interests are purple foil underlay on the flower that captures the idea of the purple plate chargers and the inlaid oval.
