This card is for two challenges:

Muse Challenge #130
CASology 161:  Plaid

For the Muse Challenge Tracey provided us a CAS tropical themed card using a palm tree, flowers and tropical colors.  My inspiration from Tracey's card ... basic layout, tropical colors (although a little different), CAS.

For the CASology Challenge I used my new fantastic stamp set from Precious Remembrance Shop (received for my winning card a few weeks ago).  On the flower I chose to create my own plaid by using pink and orange markers with some help from a ruler.  Then, I applied Copic markers to blend and smudge to make the plaid muted.  Some of the process was an experiment with the outcome OK.  Note:  Although the flower was embossed and heat set, some bleeding from the ink occurred when the Copic markers were applied.  This little hiccup just added some character!

Thank you for looking and commenting ... your feedback is greatly appreciated.
