CASE this Sketch - All-Star

Greetings!

This week I'm playing with the CAS(E) this Sketch 171 challenge.  For some texture the center of the raised panel is embossed with the Proof Positive die. For added interest the inlaid portion of the star is secured only in the middle to enable the points to be slightly lifted.

HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS

For this week's Muse ChristmasVisions challenge Kimberly provided us a festive card with sparkling silver and red colors to pique our creativity.  For my card I chose the color palette, red border, silver embossing for the image.  The silver on my card is a unique color ... I stamped in red then applied silver embossing powder and heat embossed ... just a hint of red shows through. A few coats of clear WOS make the star sparkle, too.  (IRL the right-hand side stamping is not faded ... just the camera angle.)

Life takes us ...

At CASology this week the fun challenge is 'Move'.  I chose to stamp these whimsical houses with an accompanying sentiment and use colors that matched the diagonal stripes in the Washi tape.

Today, one card and three challenges ...

Less is More - our challenge is to use DP. The flower is lilac polka dot and the bottom strip is a diagonal stripe.

The Card Concept 54 - I'm thinking this may fit with clean, simple and layered.  The inspiration photo is a beautiful lilacs bouquet in a steel bucket.

Muse - playing cards with Michelle who provided a beautiful card with a lilac bouquet  Inspirations applied to my card are purple flower, clean and layered design, grey color.

MCV42 - 'Tis the Season

Greetings!

This week at Muse ChristmasVisions Suchi is the guest designer who has provided us a very pretty and interesting card as our challenge.  The inspirations included on my card are layout, colors, ornaments, black sentiment, white space.  I chose to make ornaments from balloon dies and die-cut and inlaid (foil) Christmas trees.  For a little added sparkle, a few rhinestones were added.
