Hi Everyone!
Time to play at Muse Challenge #238. Kim, this week's designer, provided a fun Halloween card filled with corn candy for our inspirations. My card features colors, Halloween theme, orange matting, black and white harlequin pattern strip at bottom of panel. The stripes were created using a couple of stamps in different widths and randomly stamping using thee colors (two oranges and one yellow) of dye ink. (I got this background idea from Shari Carroll on the Simon Says blog on October 20, 2017.) The spider that was part of the cobweb is small and seemed lost with the stripes, so I attached a sparkly spider embellishment from my stash. One web didn't seem like enough so a couple more were lightly stamped.
Hope everyone is having a pleasant fall day. Thank you for visiting and commenting ... always appreciate your feedback.

Muse - CASology - Celebrate
Greetings!
Time to play in a couple of challenges:
Muse Challenge #237 where Tracey provided one of her CAS beauties for our inspiration.
CASology 270 - Cue Word is 'Odd' - Three flowers are colored on my card.
Inspirations from Tracey's card include similar layout (although opposite of Tracey's), color hues, floral, black sentiment.
I stamped and masked flowers and leaves. Three flowers were colored with light toned yellows and bright pink Copic markers. In keeping with the Muse card, one of the flowers and a few leaves were left uncolored. For some shimmer clear WOS was applied to the colored flowers.
Hope you're having a wonderful day! Thank you for

CAS Watercolour - Hello There
Greetings!
CAS Watercolour October Challenge is celebrating their First Birthday ... a big congratulations. In celebration our card is to include watercolor and leaves.
For my card the watercolor panel was created using a combination of Distress Dye (Candied Apple and Carved Pumpkin) and Distress Oxide (Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Worn Lipstick) Inks. The process was smooshing, water spraying, air drying and repeating these steps until I liked the result. A stitched die-cut frame was added for dimension and interest. The leaf was die-cut from cork. The sentiment matches the cork color and was achieved by using Versamark and Distress Vintage Photo inks and heat embossing with clear EP.
Hope you're having a wonderful day. Thank you for visiting and commenting ... always appreciate your feedback.

CAS Mixup - Warm Wishes
Hello Everyone,
A fun time is currently happening at CAS Mixup October Challenge to use Stamping, Layer Stenciling plus choice.
For my card I did the following and incorporated Stamping, Layer Stenciling, Dry and Heat Embossing, Masking, Die-cutting
-- used negative of butterfly die-cut for stencil
-- the overlay stencil was created by using 3 cuts of a Snowdrifts Coverup Die and randomly arranging
-- used Distress Inks (Picked Raspberry and Abandoned Coral) to dab/blend through the overlay stencil until the desired color was achieved
-- the overlay stencil was removed and the butterfly was ink blended using Spiced Marmalade (Distress Ink)
-- a bubble stencil was aligned over the spine of the butterfly and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink was blended down the spine of the butterfly
-- the butterfly was masked and a few more Peacock Feather colored bubbles were added
-- the detailed butterfly die cut was used to emboss the butterfly
-- the sentiment was stamped in black and heat embossed with clear EP
-- for a little sparkle a few of the bubbles were lightly painted with clear WOS
Hope you're having an enjoyable day ... thank you for visiting and commenting ... always appreciate your feedback.

Muse - Boo!
Greetings!
At the Muse Challenge #235 Eliz designed a very fun Halloween card with layers and goodies for our inspirations. Like Eliz's card my rendition includes lots of goodies ... DP; ribbon; spider embellishment; die-cut ghost, moon and city scape; googly eyes on the ghost, etc. Although I think this card is busy; if I was a child, I would love to receive ... lots to see and touch.
Hope your day is pleasant.
