Greetings!
Time to play at Muse: ChristmasVisions (MCV83) where Stephanie, this week's designer, provided a gorgeous, stunning card for our inspirations. Not only did her card inspire in a number of ways (general theme, colors, continents, ocean, stars, red sentiment); also, a NBUS (and retired die) was used. The ocean was ink blended using two colors of Distress inks. The continents were die-cut from a light green foil DP. A stitched circle frames earth. The sentiment was stamped/heat embossed in red ink/clear embossing powder. The white panels were adhered to a red card stock base.
Wish everyone a wonderful day. Thank you for visiting and commenting ... always appreciate your feedback.

MFT - Clean and Simple - Awesome ...
Hi Everyone!
A fun challenge at MFT - the 2017 Superstar Card Contest. My card is for the Clean and Simple Genius Category.
On white card stock I used various stamps from MFT - Abstract Art and Distressed Patterns to create the distressed/grunge/abstract design. The various Dye Inks used were MFT - Grape Jelly, Periwinkle, Pure Plum, Orange Zest, Lemon Drop. I like how the inks layered and retained their true color even on the grape and periwinkle colors. This panel was die cut using the stitched die panel from MFT - Blueprints 20. The diagonal striped strip was created using MFT - Bold Diagonal Stripes Background Stamp and MFT - Black Licorice Hybrid Ink. A very thin strip of black card stock was adhered just above the striped strip. The sentiments (from MFT - Simply Fabulous Sayings and Essential Sentiments) were stamped using MFT - Black Licorice Hybrid Ink.
Even with all the colors, I think my grandsons (teen and young adult) will like this creation.

Muse - thanks ...
Hi Everyone!
Today, I'm playing cards for the Muse Challenge #232 where Anita provided a gorgeous clean card for our inspirations. My rendition is an almost CASE. I focused on the colors and blending, white pattern in the color band, black die-cut sentiment and white embossed on black sentiment. The colors used are Wilted Violet, Faded Jeans, Evergreen Bough. The pattern was created by randomly stamping a flower in Versamark then white heat embossing. The thanks was diecut three times and layered. A few paintings of clear WOS add shimmer. The remainder of the sentiment was stamped in white and white heat embossed on black. A few clear sequins complete the card.
Thank you for visiting and commenting ... always appreciate your feedback.
