Muse - Thank You

Muse Challenge #171

Tracey provided us another one of her beauties for our inspiration  For my card, I took a 'what if' approach ... what if the flowers/leaves were outlined in color and white stamped/heat embossed ... so I tried it. In doing so, I used similar hues along with the general layout, stitched frame panel, black sentiment.

I cut the flowers/leaves using colored card stock, then white stamped/heat embossed which left the colored outline. Since my splattering needs more practice, I decided to use a MFT Scattered Dots background stamp inked with green and blue distress inks lightly applied to the card stock.

Wish you a creative day!
Marilyn

  1. What a neat effect! I love how the flowers look 'outlined' because of the white embossing! So glad you joined us at Muse this week, Marilyn!

  2. Oh my goodness Marilyn your white embossing turned out just fabulous, such a solid image on the coloured cardstock. It looks amazing. Thank you so much for sharing with us at Muse this week!
